Pay Band: F / Location: Lima / Contract: Fixed Term (1 year, renewable) / Monthly Gross Salary: S/ 8,908 / Post holder must already have the right to work in Peru.
 
ABOUT THE JOB 
As our next Education & Society Manager you will be responsible for developing large-scale programmes with Ministries, regional and local governments, international donor organisations and/or private and third sector entities, drawing on the wealth of UK expertise in education and social development in order to implement sustainable and impactful programmes. 

Initial emphasis will be on education-related programmes (both basic and higher education) with a thematic focus including: continuous professional development for school leaders and teachers, core skills, internationalisation of higher education, and policy work and influence in the education sector. 

The post holder will also lay the groundwork and build future programmes in themes that may include the empowerment of women and children, civil society and governance and youth empowerment, or other themes in response to UK and Peruvian priorities

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB (for a complete list of requirements, please review the documents attached below):
 You should have: 
  • At least 3 years of experience in programme and contract management 
  • At least 2 years experience of attracting sponsorship and funding from donors and other funders across private and/or public sector and/or building large-scale partnerships.
  • Proven active and up-to-date network of middle and senior level contacts and relationships in education and society sectors
  • Spanish and English language skills: Fluency in both languages equivalent to C1 level (Common European Framework) across all 4 language competencies (reading, writing, listening, speaking).
  • A university degree in related area.
